Job Description

Hazel's Diner is an established neighbourhood breakfast and lunch restaurant in Midtown Toronto, proudly serving our community since 2009.

We're seeking an experienced Breakfast Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

The ideal candidate has strong breakfast cooking skills, works efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing consistently great food. We're looking for someone dependable, organized and comfortable handling busy breakfast and brunch service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items to restaurant standards.
- Confidently handle egg preparation, griddle cooking and other kitchen stations.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning and presentation.
- Assist with daily food preparation, station setup and closing duties.
- Maintain a clean,



organized and food-safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

- Professional breakfast or brunch cooking experience is required.
- Strong egg cooking and griddle skills are essential.
- Experience working in a quick-paced restaurant kitchen.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, organized and a solid team player.
- Must be available Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
