True Care Pharmacy is a locally owned, independent community pharmacy and proud member of PharmaChoice. We are looking for a dependable, organized Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

Our pharmacy serves community patients and personal care homes, combining friendly, personal service with organized medication packaging and dispensing systems. You’ll work alongside pharmacists, technicians, and assistants to help patients receive accurate, timely care.

What you’ll do

Your responsibilities will reflect your qualifications and role and may include:

- Process prescription information and maintain accurate patient records in Kroll.
- Prepare, package, and label medications according to pharmacy procedures.
- Support compliance packaging and scheduled medication orders for personal care homes.
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, prescribers’ offices, and care home staff.
- Process insurance claims and help resolve billing issues.
- Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and expiry-date checks.




- Coordinate prescription pickups and deliveries.
- Help maintain an organized dispensary while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Refer medication questions and clinical concerns to the pharmacist.

Registered pharmacy technicians will also carry out technical responsibilities and verification activities appropriate to their registration, competence, and the pharmacy’s procedures.

- Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Kroll experience is a strong asset.
- Experience with personal care homes, compliance packaging, PacMed, or PacVision is an asset.

For pharmacy technician applicants: Current registration in good standing with the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board is required.

For pharmacy assistant applicants: Previous pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred. Applicants with relevant training and transferable experience are also welcome to apply.
