LeverageTek seeks a Check Point Firewall Specialist for its Ottawa customer. The role centers on SmartConsole, firewall policies, gateways, Threat Prevention, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will investigate incidents, assess changes, support lifecycle activities, and provide technical direction to managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot 40 to 50 enterprise firewalls
- Manage policies, rules, gateways, objects, and configurations
- Support Threat Prevention, monitoring, logging, and performance activities
- Investigate incidents, connectivity issues,



and security configuration challenges
- Maintain documentation and operational procedures accurately

Requirements:

- At least two years administering Check Point firewalls
- Solid SmartConsole, policy, gateway, and Threat Prevention knowledge
- Check Point CCSE certification strongly preferred
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, NAT, and DNS
- Production firewall troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving experience
