Senior AI Engineer x3 - Agentic AI / Machine Learning

Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They're looking for three experienced Senior AI Engineers to join their Supply Chain Technology team and contribute to the development of a current AI-powered supply chain platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation AI applications, with a particular focus on Reactive Agentic AI Systems, large-language models (LLMs), and machine learning solutions.

The successful candidate will play an important role in designing, developing, and deploying intelligent AI application and agentic workflows into production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and implement agentic AI applications and workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain.
- Contribute to the development of reactive AI agents and intelligent workflows supporting the Supply Chain AI platform.
- Build and integrate LLM-powered applications, leveraging technologies such as LiteLLM.
- Design, develop and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and associated data retrieval processes.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and external services to support AI applications and agentic workflows.
- Apply strong machine learning and data science fundamentals to the development and optimisation of AI solutions.
- Build, train, test and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
- Implement AI observability, monitoring and evaluation solutions using tools such as LangFuse or LangSmith.




- Deploy and manage production-grade AI and ML applications within containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Must Have Skills:

- Extensive hands-on experience with Python (REST API development and integration), including designing, building, and deploying production-ready solutions.
- Demonstrated experience building, deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
- Hands-on experience building Agentic AI applications and workflows using LangGraph or LangChain.
- Experience developing and integration Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications, including LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience with LiteLLM or similar LLM integration and orchestration technologies.
- Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and implementation.
- Experience with AI observability, monitoring and evaluation tools such as LangFuse or LangSmith.
- Experience working with Google Cloud (GCP) - BigQuery and/or Vertex AI, open to AWS/Azure experience
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for production deployment.
