MB AutoCare is seeking a licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain passenger vehicles and light trucks. We are a 2-bay garage that is open 4 days per week and focuses on European vehicles. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting Ontario regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
- Use diagnostic tools and computerized equipment to identify faults
- Provide cost estimates to customers
- Order parts
- Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, etc.)
- Follow manufacturer specifications and Ontario safety standards
- Road test vehicles to confirm repairs and performance
- Complete invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Take customer payments.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician Certificate (Ontario)
- Valid Class G Driver's License and a good driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Own tools
Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years experience as a 310S
- Experience with both domestic and import vehicles
- Experience with computerized diagnostics and scan tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
