Sloan StoneDESIGN is a local countertop fabricator manufacturing high quality quartz, granite, and porcelain countertops. We are a company that has successfully set a standard for high quality stone countertops from fabrication to installation. Currently, we are looking to grow our team with an organized, self motivated, experienced Lead Installer. The Lead Installer is an key role in the overall process of delivering the best service possible to our customers. This person is competent in all aspects of installing our products at customer sites and leads a crew to deliver top quality projects. The Lead Installer adds value to their crew by organizing, checking, and coaching all aspects of job site preparation, product installation, and ensuring we leave our job sites in better condition than when we arrived.

Duties and responsibilities

Professionally install all products we offer

- Lead by setting a professional example of high quality
- Professionally execute all job site related work task

Ensure your crew and all materials are prepared and ready to complete assigned jobs

- Ensure the service vehicle is fully stocked with supplies and tools
- Verify that all required products are loaded for the work assigned
- Verify that all members of the crew are prepared to work safely

Organize and check all aspects of job performance

- Assign duties to crew members for each job
- Take responsibility for the work of your crew
- Verify that all job sites are left in the prescribed condition

Manage all communications while on job sites

- Act as the primary site contact for all job-related communications
- Ensure customer expectations are met and communicated




- Provide detailed and timely communication to internal job owners

Continual improvement and coaching

- Participate in ongoing training related to all aspects of the role
- Coach and train members of your crew to deliver the highest quality jobs and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

· Preferred / Valuable

o Experience leading a crew

o Experience in kitchen design

o Knowledge of project management

· Mandatory

o 1 years of installation experience

o Familiarity with Auto CAD drawings and building layouts

o Strong customer engagement skills

o G License and clean driving record

Working conditions

Our team at Sloan Stone Design is very important to us. We believe in building our team based on shared values and the enjoyment of working together. We believe that the right person is more important than the most experienced.

Each day begins at our facility in south London where you will assemble your crew and all materials you require are loaded into your truck. This role is performed primarily on customer job sites including new construction and in homes undergoing renovation. You will be attending multiple job sites per day throughout south western Ontario. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am and ending when the jobs scheduled for the day have been completed with occasional weekend work as required.

Physical requirements

This role is physically demanding. The ideal candidate is able to lift and carry heavy items while being accurate and able to maneuver and place them without damaging surrounding items.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
