The Intermediate Accountant requires a strong Customer Service focus regardless of whether the customer is internal or external. This position can be fast-paced and strong attention to detail is required.
Duties
- Partner with the finance team to develop rolling cash flow forecasts, FP&A; materials, financial performance models and budgeting.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable entries.
- Apply data analytics to help deliver strategic insights.
- Assist in maintaining the company's equipment tracking module within the systems.
- Perform inventory counts and data entry within the system.
- ITC and CRA Compliance Reporting.
- Other duties as required
Skills
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; preference will be given to someone working towards their CPA
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or finance-focused role
- Experience with the construction industry or ERP software will be considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience with AI tools is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
