IPCO, a respected leader in the Agricultural industry, is currently recruiting Seasonal Production Labour to join our production team. This is a seasonal position that consists of 37.5 hours per week and lasts roughly 7-8 months. We are currently seeking casual workers for day shift (Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm), and will be hiring in January for evening shift, (Monday – Friday, 3pm – 11pm), and night shift (Sunday – Friday, 11pm - 7am). Pay rates start at $18.82 per hour with shift premiums, and pay increases after 975 hours. IPCO believes in development and growth, and offers good opportunities to advance to full-time employment.

What you’ll do:

Casual Production Workers, under the guidance of the Line Leaders and Shift Supervisors, are responsible for contributing to safe, quality, and efficient packaging processes in order to meet the established production standards. Duties include but are not limited to: forklift operation, manual handling of packaging materials, operating packaging equipment, general cleaning and housekeeping, performing quality inspections throughout the entire packaging process, ensuring equipment is operating properly, reporting any issues to the Line Leader or Supervisor, following all health and safety requirements including wearing personal PPE, following all company policies and procedures and other company programs such as respectful workplace and contamination prevention, meeting expectations of the position, and performing all other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 25kg floor to waist and 25kg waist to shoulders
- Extensive lifting, walking, standing, bending, and pushing
- Ability to perform repetitive activities
- Occasionally bending and turning while lifting weights of less than 25kg
- Standing for extended periods of time





Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of forklift driving experience - preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in a production / manufacturing environment – preferred
- Solid work references, punctual/dependable with reliable transportation
- Robust work ethic and organizational skills
- English language proficiency at CLB Level 6.
- Ability to work in a team environment, a can-do attitude, and ability to multi-task
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical background preferred, experience with hazardous materials preferred
- Ability to work with packaging and material handling equipment
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Inventory Control processes is preferred
- Leadership skills are preferred
