We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Millwright to join our maintenance team at our industrial facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining reliable production equipment, reducing unplanned downtime, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
This position is ideal for a hands-on mechanic with robust troubleshooting skills, a solid mechanical background, and experience maintaining industrial equipment, conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, identify root causes, and complete repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain, repair, and replace bearings, shafts, motors,
gearboxes, couplings, chains, pulleys, sprockets, belts, belt tracking, chain tension and other mechanical components.
- Perform shaft, motor, gearbox, and coupling alignment using appropriate measuring and alignment tools.
- Fill documentation on work orders and parts used on repairs
- Report to Head of Maintenance daily and assist in locating machinery that may fail causing downtime
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
