The Licensed Optician supports customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, combining attentive service with accurate, organized work. The role brings together optical knowledge, clear communication, and a practical approach to helping customers understand their options.
Duties
- Assist customers with eyewear selection, explain product features, and support retail sales through helpful, needs-focused service.
- Take and verify measurements, prepare and adjust eyewear, and coordinate laboratory work to support accurate, comfortable fittings.
- Maintain clear customer records, use relevant systems such as Epic when applicable, and follow established procedures.
- Keep displays and work areas organized, and collaborate with colleagues to coordinate customer care and daily operations.

Qualifications
Required: Practical optical knowledge, transparent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to support customers, complete accurate measurements, and maintain organized records. Preferred: Optical experience, laboratory experience, medical terminology, retail sales or sales experience, familiarity with Epic, and retail management strengths that support smooth service and effective teamwork.
