Kinjo Sushi and Grill is looking for positive, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our Kitchen Team.
As a member of our Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for preparing food, maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness, and working closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to restaurant standards and recipes
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Keep kitchen stations, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with food preparation, ingredient storage, and inventory organization
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Communicate and cooperate with other kitchen team members
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
- Follow instructions from kitchen supervisors and management
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset, but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
- Willingness to follow food safety and cleanliness standards
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
