This Security Analyst II role focuses on monitoring, triaging, and investigating alerts across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and application environments. You will perform incident response, analyze telemetry, improve detection capabilities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. The position requires three or more years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across enterprise environments
- Perform containment, eradication, and post-incident follow-up
- Correlate logs to identify attack patterns and root causes
- Develop incident response playbooks and escalation processes
- Document investigations, timelines, impacts, and remediation actions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Three or more years in cybersecurity or related fields
- Hands-on enterprise incident investigation and response experience
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK; and incident response methodologies
- Eligibility to work in Canada
