MASH is a non-profit society that has provided affordable housing for seniors in Mission since 1999. The Cedars is a 58-suite Assisted Living residence operated in partnership with BC Housing and Fraser Health. Our goal is a safe, respectful home where seniors live as independently as possible.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Care, the casual LPN covers shifts as needed and provides resident care alongside our care team.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments and procedures.
- Help develop and update resident care plans.
- Monitor residents and report changes in their condition.
- Keep accurate, timely documentation.
- Direct and support Health Care Aides.
- Provide palliative and end-of-life care with dignity.
- Complete incident reports and respond to emergencies.
- Follow infection control, safety and privacy requirements.
Conditions of Employment
- Explicit Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check
- Completion of mandatory provincial health requirements
Pay: Up to $32.84 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Licensed Practical Nurse Licence (required)
