As a full time, permanent Design Engineer at Pineapple, you will translate customer requirements into practical furniture solutions. You will use Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks, support manufacturing, and contribute to product improvement. The work includes customer drawings, technical documentation, quality checking, and collaboration with manufacturers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce customer and quote drawings for special furniture products
- Create scaled 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials
- Generate BIM, AutoCAD, rendering, and related CAD files
- Quality check drawings and product samples,
reporting discrepancies
- Record jobs, space plans, and specials in product databases
Requirements:
- Degree-level industrial, product, or furniture design qualification
- Experience producing detailed designs for manufacture
- Excellent Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks experience
- Understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes
