Infinity Women Secretariat, an affiliate of the Manitoba Métis Federation, is hiring multiple guards for rotating 24/7 shifts. The work supports a safe environment for women and children residing after domestic violence, abuse, or unsafe living situations. Knowledge of Red River Métis culture and MMF programs is a definite asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cameras, alarms, communication systems, and equipment
- Patrol grounds and common areas regularly
- Control access according to confidentiality requirements
- Report property damage, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
- Maintain a professional presence within the facility
Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard Certification
- Current First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of Red River Métis culture is an asset
- Ability to collaborate with residential and support staff
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and reliable vehicle
