Operate compressors, spray equipment, and texture tools while delivering consistent ceiling finishes for Empire Envelope projects in Calgary.
This full time technician prepares materials and surfaces before applying specified ceiling textures. Responsibilities include equipment inspection, cleaning, maintenance, finish quality checks, records, and deficiency repairs. You will coordinate assigned work and communicate site conditions, progress, and requirements with project contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare materials for scheduled ceiling texture applications
- Apply Popcorn, Splatter, Knock-Down, and Level 5 finishes
- Inspect and maintain compressors and spray equipment
- Record work, materials, site conditions, and billing information
- Complete vehicle and equipment inspections
Requirements:
- Ability to inspect completed work for consistency
- Ability to complete required touch-ups and deficiency work
- Effective communication with project representatives and trades
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate assigned work
- Ability to work during regular business hours
