This permanent, part time position provides laboratory attendant services at 99 Hospital Drive in Peterborough. You will receive samples, prepare glassware, manage supplies, and complete records supporting laboratory operations. The work requires computer skills, medical terminology knowledge, and familiarity with laboratory information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, sort, rack, and transport specimens
- Wash, prepare, sterilize, and restock glassware
- Package bio-hazardous waste according to safety standards
- Complete temperature, inventory, equipment, and facility logs
- Archive samples and maintain requisition filing systems

Requirements:

- High school diploma
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory safety procedures
