Beaches Therapy Group (BTG) is a multi-clinic, Toronto-based psychology and psychotherapy organization partnering with major insurance providers to connect their clients with experienced mental health professionals across Canada.
We are expanding our network of independent clinician affiliates who are interested in receiving client referrals through BTG while continuing to operate their own practices and manage their schedules independently.
As a BTG affiliate, you will work from your own practice and provide services to referred clients under a BTG affiliate agreement.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from clinicians across regulated mental health professions, including Registered Social Workers (RSWs), Registered Clinical Cousnellors (CCCs), Registered Psychotherapists (RPs), Registered Psychologists (C.Psychs), and Psychiatrists, provided they are authorized to practise in their province.
Applicants should:
- Be registered or otherwise authorized to practise in their province.
- Have at least five years of direct client experience.
- Be familiar with workplace stress and burnout.
- Have some daytime availability to accept current clients.
Areas of Experience
Experience supporting clients with the following concerns is particularly valuable:
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma
- Grief and loss
- Short & long term Disability
- Chronic pain or illness
- Life transitions
Familiarity with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an asset.
Experience working with couples, families, children, or teens is also welcome.
Compensation and Engagement Details
Affiliates receive a flat fee of $100 CAD per standard session. BTG establishes the client-facing session rates.
This is an independent contractor arrangement. Affiliates continue to operate their own practices and manage their schedules. Referrals will build gradually as the program grows, and referral volume is not guaranteed. Further details about the affiliate arrangement will be shared during the application process.
