Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and effective Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service, skilled in food and beverage preparation, and experienced in fast-paced food service environments. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments
- Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with attention to cash handling procedures
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions regarding food and beverage options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when necessary




- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently

Qualifications

- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction management
- Experience with serving, food preparation, and food safety standards required
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
