This Senior Analyst role supports RBC's Derivatives Confirmations Group through confirmation review, reconciliation, reporting, and issue resolution. You will compare RBC confirmations with counterparty documents, assess economic terms and legal agreement provisions, and escalate matters when necessary. The position also supports KYC policies, regulatory obligations, and collaboration with Front Office, Documentation, Legal, Trading, Sales, and internal partners. Three to five years of relevant experience are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve confirmation discrepancies with relevant internal stakeholders
- Escalate issues to Front Office, Documentation, or Legal
- Reconcile records to confirm data accuracy and completeness
- Action reporting obligations involving CFTC and ESMA
- Follow firm-wide KYC policies for client setup
Requirements:
- Three to five years of prior relevant experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Positive knowledge of ISDA documentation definitions
- Analytical ability to anticipate potential problems
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
