Deliver Aquatic Leadership Programs at the Cooper Koo Family YMCA in Toronto, combining coaching, safety, and program coordination.
This six-month salaried contract focuses on specialized Aquatics Leadership skills and direct member experience. You will support aquatic program development, course logistics, quality processes, and supervisor objectives. The role also builds relationships with members, staff, volunteers, and the Life Saving Society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Aquatic Leadership Programs and guide YMCA Aquatics quality processes
- Recruit and coach staff, volunteers, and course participants
- Assist with aquatic leadership course schedules and event logistics
- Support relationships with the Life Saving Society
- Monitor activity safety and order First-Aid Supplies
Requirements:
- Minimum two years delivering aquatics programs
- Recognized swim instructor qualification, including Red Cross or LSS
- Required Standard or Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C
- Leadership skills from progressively responsible experience
- Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills
