Operate a shuttle vehicle in Nisku while loading, scanning, sorting, and transporting freight between Federal Express Canada facilities. This is an interview position.
As a part time Shuttle Driver, you will perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle. You will handle packages, operate computerized tracking equipment, and follow company procedures. The work includes freight movement, vehicle care, package security, and safe transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload company vehicles and containers
- Audit package size and weight accurately
- Separate packages by service type and destination
- Scan packages using computerized tracking equipment
- Transport freight safely between facilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Valid unrestricted Class 5 or Class G licence
- Good driving record with required driving history
- Ability to lift 70 pounds or maneuver 150 pounds
- Ability to complete basic and recurrency training
