This Student Operator opportunity offers selected individuals entry-level training for a potential future in highway maintenance. You will work toward a DZ license while developing the abilities required for safe, competent snowplow operation. Employment may be full-time or seasonal after training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade a Class 5 license through paid DZ training
- Develop operating skills for winter snowplow work
- Support Ledcor highway operations across the province
- Work in diverse weather patterns and demanding conditions
- Complete required rotational camp assignments
Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Maintain a clean abstract with unrestricted Class 5 license
- Pass required MTO medical and vision examinations
- Maintain safety-oriented standards and quality commitment
- Perform bending, kneeling, crouching, and regular lifting
