Lead Houdini grooming for WildBrain Studios' feature team, shaping creature, character, fur, feather, and hair work for Little Santa.

As Groom Supervisor, you will establish WildBrain's Groom discipline for high-quality productions. Reporting to the Line Producer under the VFX Supervisor, you will define workflows, build standards, support pipeline development, and mentor artists. The work includes Houdini templates, USD-related grooming pipelines, scalable groom rigs, and Groom libraries. You will also collaborate with production, pipeline, Groom and Asset TDs, and department heads to improve tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build Houdini templates that streamline grooming workflows
- Review artists' work daily and provide feature-quality feedback
- Create creature and character grooms using fur,



feather, and hair
- Define workflows, training materials, and process documentation
- Lead mentoring, recruitment, and Groom department development

Requirements:

- Five-plus years leading Groom teams in feature or episodic productions
- Ability to build scalable groom rigs and Groom libraries
- Modern Houdini grooming knowledge and complex-problem solving
- Knowledge of USD and computer graphics pipelines
- Positive knowledge of Flow Production Tracking
