Licensed Opticians deliver accurate eyewear solutions through optical measurements, lens recommendations, and customer-focused retail sales at Pearle Vision.
This full-time position supports exceptional customer experiences and customer retention at a neighborhood Pearle Vision store. You will fill ophthalmic prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses and frames, and develop relationships with Associates and Doctors. The work combines optical expertise, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and sales accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and adapt lenses and frames
- Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames for customer needs
- Conduct optical measurements using appropriate tools
- Resolve vision issues and support customer satisfaction
- Maintain merchandising, pricing, POS, and marketing standards
Requirements:
- State optician licensure or nationally recognized certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail or customer service experience with results
- Ability to sell and deliver sales results
- Strong communication, adaptability, and attention to detail
