Job Summary

Full time 2nd Class Operating Engineer (12 hr. Continental Shift).

Reporting to the Chief Power Engineer, the successful candidate for the 2nd Class Operating Engineer will operate automated and computerized control systems, boilers and auxiliary boiler related equipment, Mill fire protection systems, auxiliary generator, compressor air system, Mill HVAC system, and steam and condensate for the manufacturing facility.

Maintenance duties include inspection and maintenance of all Powerhouse related equipment,



Mill steam distribution systems, Mill condensate systems, and Mill air distribution systems. Inspection and maintenance of Mill fire response equipment and lift safety equipment.

The Power Plant has a total capacity of 1700 thermal-hours.

Experience The successful applicant must possess a Second Class Operating Engineer certificate.

Required: 3-5+ years' experience The incumbent must be able to work in a team-based environment and demonstrate the ability to work under production, time, and cost constraints.

Pulp and Paper experience is considered an asset.

Pay: $47.93 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 per week
