WE'RE HIRING | Functional Consultant – Asset Finance

Location: Canada – Remote (Must be based in Canada)

Travel: Up to 50% across North America

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Experience: 6–8 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant – Asset Finance with strong expertise in Asset Finance & Leasing to work closely with clients and internal teams, understand business requirements, configure solutions, and support the delivery of creative financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze client business needs, industry trends, and best practices.
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Act as a liaison between end users, clients, and technical consultants.
- Define product scope, objectives, requirements, and data models.
- Configure systems based on agreed user requirements.
- Identify process improvements and resolve complex functional and technical challenges.




- Work directly with clients across different time zones when required.

Required Skills & Domain Expertise:

- Strong experience in Asset Finance & Leasing .
- Assets & Residual Value Management.
- Asset Finance Accounting Fundamentals.
- Auto Leasing and Equipment Finance.
- Hire Purchase and Loan Structures.
- In-Life Contract Servicing.
- Quote-to-Contract Lifecycle.
- SQL Database Design.
- Crystal Reports.

Candidate Requirements:

- 6–8 years of relevant experience in Asset Finance / Leasing.
- Strong functional consulting and client-facing experience.
- Must be currently based in Canada.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to other North American countries.
