This Assistant

Controller reports to a CPA Partner serving as Director of Finance. The newly designated CPA will contribute across accounting activities, including adjusting entries, monthly statements, and reporting packages. The position also supports analytical reporting, transaction cycles, payroll coverage, and assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain the general ledger and prepare adjusting journal entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Prepare weekly management analytical reports




- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable staff
- Back up payroll and complete assigned special projects Requirements:
- Newly designated Canadian CPA designation
- Experience supporting broad accounting functions
- Ability to prepare financial statements and reporting packages
- Ability to oversee accounts payable and receivable staff
