Assistant Controller This is an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, founder-led business where finance plays a key role in supporting growth, improving processes, and driving business performance. Working closely with senior leadership, the Assistant Controller will help strengthen financial reporting, support business decisions, and build scalable financial processes as the company continues to expand. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a growing business, takes ownership, and thrives in an environment where initiative and adaptability are valued.

Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Support job costing, project financial reporting, and construction-related accounting activities. Monitor project performance, budgets, and financial results to identify trends and opportunities.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning,



and financial analysis. Maintain strong internal controls and improve accounting processes as the business grows. Support audit, tax, and year-end requirements.

Assist with the development and implementation of scalable finance processes. Take ownership of day-to-day accounting priorities while supporting broader finance initiatives. CPA designation required. Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Construction industry experience and knowledge of job costing or project accounting are strong assets.

Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems and reporting tools. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with operational and senior leadership teams. Base salary up to $140,000 + Bonus
