Guide automotive manufacturing shifts with solid production leadership, coordinating people, equipment, quality, and delivery across multiple operations.

As Production Supervisor, you own shift results across die casting, foundry, CNC machining, assembly, and supporting functions. You will plan staffing, adjust priorities, monitor performance, and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Tooling, Logistics, Materials, and Planning. The role is hands-on during start-up and ramp-up, with substantial time on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

Plan staffing, schedules, assignments, and labour levels

Adjust priorities when equipment or customer requirements change

Maintain production records, downtime logs, and handover notes





Investigate defects and drive corrective actions

Coordinate cross-functional responses to shortages and bottlenecks

Requirements

5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience

3+ years supervising manufacturing employees

Knowledge of die casting processes and machine setup

Ability to read drawings, prints, and casting specifications

Ability to work assigned shifts and required launch overtime
