Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer & Data Engineer Contractor to design and implement scalable analytics solutions supporting the organization's manufacturing, engineering, and business operations. The successful candidate will develop Snowflake-based data models, build data pipelines using Matillion, integrate SAP data sources, and deliver business-critical dashboards using Power BI. This role requires robust SQL expertise, business engagement skills, and the ability to translate complex operational data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design dimensional and analytical data models using star and snowflake schemas, and build scalable, reliable data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models in Snowflake using Matillion for reporting and analytics solutions.
- Utilize AWS cloud services for data storage, computation, SQS queues, SNS notifications, and Lambda functions.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Model complex SAP transactional data in Snowflake to enable advanced analytics, reporting, and cross-functional business insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Use Jira and Confluence within an Agile Scrum framework to manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, task tracking, and technical documentation,



ensuring efficient project delivery and team collaboration.
- Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET to support data integration and reporting needs.
- Support the organization's rebranding efforts.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3+ years of full-time work experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering.
- Expert-level SQL development skills with a proven track record of optimizing complex analytical queries.
- Strong experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and data pipeline development.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools, specifically Matillion.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience analyzing and modeling SAP ECC or S/4HANA data structures, with the ability to transform transactional SAP data into business-friendly analytical models.
- Experience with ASP.NET or web application development.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM models is preferred for long-term initiatives.

Work Schedule:

- On-site presence required 3 days a week, with the possibility of remote work for 2 days a week.
