Cabinetmaker / Apprentice Cabinetmaker — Livingston Cabinetry Inc., Barrie

Livingston Cabinetry designs, builds and installs mid-to-high-end custom cabinetry and millwork for homeowners, designers and builders across Simcoe County and the GTA. We run a CNC nesting centre and a small, focused shop team. We're adding a full-time cabinetmaker to our Barrie shop, starting December 2026.

This is a real trade career. We'll sponsor the right person through a registered Cabinetmaker apprenticeship with Skilled Trades Ontario and pay for job-related training. New to the trade or currently between jobs? You're encouraged to apply.

What you'll do

- Assemble cabinet boxes, drawers and components cut on our CNC
- Sand, prep and handle doors and panels for finishing
- Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides and accessories
- Read shop drawings and cut lists; build to spec and tolerance
- Keep the shop clean, safe and organized
- Help on installations as you develop (bonus, not required)

What we're looking for

- Experience assembling cabinets — a huge asset
- Experience sanding and prepping doors — a huge asset
- Cabinet or millwork installation experience — a bonus
- Comfortable with hand and power tools; able to use a tape measure accurately
- Reliable, on time, and takes pride in clean, careful work




- Able to lift 50 lb and stand for a full shift
- Valid G licence and reliable transportation (an asset)

- $25–$35/hour based on experience, with raises as you progress through apprenticeship levels
