The Captain’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the safety of the crew and any contractors, protection of the environment, the safe operation of the vessel and its cargo, and protection of the owner’s commercial interests. The Captain is expected to perform his or her duties in accordance with the Canada Shipping Act and Regulations, Canada Labour Code, Company Policies and Procedures, and includes fulfillment of the Company’s committed requirements of the ISM Code and the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Standards.





Certificate of Proficiency in STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats. Certificate of Proficiency in STCW Advanced Fire Fighting.

Ship Security

Officer.

Marine Medical

Care (preferred). ECDIS training with proficiency in TRANSAS type (preferred).

Valid Canadian
