Job Overview

As a Cashier/Sales Assistant, you’ll support customers throughout their shopping experience, combining accurate checkout service with helpful product guidance. You’ll contribute to an organized, welcoming sales floor and work with colleagues to keep service moving smoothly.

Duties

- Process purchases and payments using POS systems, handle cash accurately, and complete basic math for transactions.
- Assist customers with product questions, demonstrate products, and recommend relevant options through attentive service and appropriate upselling.
- Replenish and arrange merchandise, maintain appealing displays, and keep the checkout and sales areas organized.
- Support customer inquiries in person and by phone, using clear communication and skilled phone etiquette.

Qualifications Required: Bring basic math, cashiering, POS, customer service, communication,



and organizational skills to handle transactions accurately and assist customers. Use English and manage time effectively while balancing checkout and sales-floor tasks.

Preferred: Retail sales or technical sales experience, including technology sales and product demonstrations, is helpful. Merchandising, cash handling, and upselling strengths are valued; bilingual or multilingual abilities can help serve a wider range of customers.

Pay: $16.00-$27.28 per hour
