True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Catering Server to join our team.

The Catering Server will be working with a team to ensure the execution of Food & Beverage Requirements and Events at the Canada Life Centre and the Burton Cummings Theatre, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for our guests.

What to be excited for in this role:

- Seek to provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and guests.
- Responsible for the timeliness and set-up of buffets & equipment related to the sale of food and beverage.
- Verify inventory before and after each shift, and support set up and breakdown of work area.
- Uphold open communication with all working teams.
- Ensure supervisor is informed of issues that arise, and support resolutions.
- Support proper inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, equipment operation, and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked working environment.
- Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.

What we need from you:

- Familiarity with POS systems and digital registers.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to communicate with all patrons, customers and coworkers.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism.




- Ability to keep calm under pressure and in a quick-paced environment.
- The highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
- Willingness and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a team workplace.
- Current Smart Choices Certification or willingness to obtain.
