Alberta Health Services is seeking a Rural Lead for Clinical Operations in the Central Corridor. This senior leadership assignment supports acute care sites and their Site Leaders under the Hospital-Based Leadership framework. Success requires sound decisions across service configuration, safety, financial management, workforce, innovation, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational oversight for assigned acute care sites

Establish accountability through performance management frameworks

Advance quality improvement, innovation, and risk management

Manage resources, capital expenditures,



and procurement

Collaborate with medical, community, and organizational leaders

Requirements

At least five years’ healthcare management experience

Undergraduate healthcare, healthcare management, or business degree

Rural healthcare delivery leadership experience

Solid communication, organization, coaching, and teaching abilities

Alberta driver’s license required; master’s degree preferred

Use healthcare leadership, resource management, and stakeholder collaboration to support hospital performance throughout Alberta’s Central Corridor.
