Build CG tools and optimize workflows as a Technical Director at Pitch Black, using development skills across multiple CG disciplines. Support artists and supervisors.The CG Technical Director supports the CG department across multiple shows. You will work with the Head of CG, Department Supervisors, and CG Supervisors to solve production problems and prepare practical solutions. The work includes diagnosing bottlenecks, improving workflows, and supporting artists.Key Responsibilities:

Develop tools, workflows, and diagnostics for CG efficiencyPartner with supervisors on practical production solutionsAnalyze and optimize scenes and rendersAdapt existing workflows to production needsImprove artists’ and supervisors’ day-to-day experienceRequirements:

Robust development skills using traditional or AI-assisted methodsStrong knowledge across multiple CG disciplinesExperience with Maya, Houdini, Nuke, and ArnoldExperience developing artist-facing tools and workflowsExperience using GitBring practical development, workflow optimization, and problem-solving skills to Pitch Black’s CG production across multiple shows.
