Lead civil and structural engineering mandates with SAFI modeling and steel design through GCM Consultants’ hybrid work model. Offices are available in Regina, Edmonton, and Calgary.

This permanent full time position serves as a civil and structural technical lead across energy, mining, manufacturing, and construction sectors. You will develop concepts, coordinate disciplines, and provide practical engineering solutions focused on constructability. The work includes client collaboration, technical studies, and detailed structural design.

Key Responsibilities

Lead civil and structural mandates across multiple industry sectors

Design steel and concrete structures in heavy industry

Model structures using SAFI software





Coordinate projects with clients and other disciplines

Provide technical support during field work completion

Requirements

Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Minimum five years of structural engineering experience

Industrial experience is preferably considered

Membership or eligibility with the provincial skilled association

Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
