Who we're looking for.

Good Sorts Property Services is on the hunt for cleaning superstars to support our growing team in Kelowna in a Casual / On-Call Cleaning Specialist role.

This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible work arrangement who enjoys variety and is comfortable jumping in where needed. Our casual team members help keep things running smoothly by providing vacation and sick coverage, supporting scheduled cleans during busier periods, and assisting with additional client needs and short-term projects.

There are no guaranteed weekly hours in this role. Instead, we work with your availability and our operational needs to coordinate coverage opportunities as they arise.

How scheduling works: We collect availability from our casual team members every two weeks. You'll let us know which days and time windows you're available during the upcoming scheduling period, and our Operations team will coordinate available shifts accordingly. You're welcome to accept or decline individual shift opportunities based on your availability, with no expectation of maintaining a set weekly schedule.

Who should apply?

We hire based on your fit with our company, not necessarily on how you fit with a role description. If you're a team player who takes ownership and strives for excellence, then we want to hear from you. To us, attitude is everything. The rest can be taught.

That said, we'd be extra excited if you:

- Previously demonstrated success as a cleaner; and/or
- Previously demonstrated success in customer service.

Some must-haves include:
- Great communication skills;
- A great eye for detail;
- The ability to provide reliable and accurate availability every two weeks, including mutually agreed-upon weekday and/or weekend time windows;

- Flexibility to take on coverage shifts across different client locations as operational needs arise; and
- Your own reliable transportation to get to and from work, along with a valid full Class 5 Canadian driver's licence.

What's in it for you? In addition to some hearty slaps on the back and warm fuzzies after a job well done, you can expect:

- A competitive starting wage of $22.00 per hour, plus applicable pay in lieu of vacation and other eligible employment entitlements;
- Opportunities to earn additional hours when coverage needs arise;
- A flexible work arrangement with no guaranteed weekly hours or minimum shift commitment;
- A professional uniform that you can be proud of; and
- A supportive team that values ownership, accountability and a job well done.
