Lead cloud financial operations across Azure, AWS, and GCP at Canada Life as an individual contributor focused on governance and optimisation.

The Manager, Cloud FinOps partners with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Application, Technology, and Procurement teams. You will improve financial transparency, attribution, forecasting, and reporting while strengthening cost control. The role also builds AI FinOps practices as AI adoption expands across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse multi-cloud financial data, trends, risks, and opportunities

Oversee cloud cost management and resource optimisation efforts

Manage commitments, credits, consumption tracking, and burn-down projections

Build chargeback, show-back, and cost-allocation models





Develop AI cost transparency, attribution, and reporting practices

Requirements

Five or more years of FinOps experience

AI FinOps experience in complex organisations

Experience with at least two major cloud providers

Solid budgeting, forecasting, and cost-management knowledge

FinOps Certified Practitioner certification or willingness to obtain

Apply cloud financial expertise, multi-cloud knowledge, and AI FinOps capabilities to advance Canada Life’s governance and optimisation.
