Snowflake is hiring a Japanese-speaking Cloud Support Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, or Atlanta, Georgia. The role provides customer-facing technical support, owns cases through resolution, and contributes to platform stability and customer experience.

Responsibilities

- Manage customer issues from initial triage through resolution and follow-up, providing clear and timely updates.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using SQL, log analysis, scripting, Snowflake tools, and AI-assisted diagnostics.
- Validate AI-generated hypotheses and responses, and use manual investigation when needed.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success on systemic issues, bugs, and feature requests.
- Document solutions and improve knowledge-base content.
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience,



and at least two years of technical support experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese, familiarity with Japanese business culture, and robust English communication skills.
- Technical troubleshooting experience, including SQL, logs, scripting or automation, and basic Windows and Linux knowledge.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ML pipelines, MLOps, LLM tools, REST APIs, and web services.
- AI-tool experience and the ability to critically validate AI outputs.

Snowflake or other cloud-platform experience, CI/CD or workflow automation, AI-powered support or SRE experience, and relevant certifications are preferred. The posting lists an estimated base salary range of $90,000–$135,000 per year and eligibility for a benefits package.
