HAVN is an experience design business. Our medium is hydrotherapy, sauna, cold immersion, rest. Our real product is presence: the feeling of being pulled out of your head and into your body, held by a space that has been designed with intention and care.

When you walk into HAVN, you should be caught up in it, the atmosphere, the warmth, the detail. When you sit in the sauna and then move into the cold pool, you are brought fully into your body. Everything, every design choice, every temperature, every interaction, either adds to that spell or quietly breaks it.

The Role The Lounge Attendant prepares and serves food and beverages to our guests and keeps the lounge welcoming, calm and clean. This is a hands-on hospitality role for someone who takes pride in their craft, loves taking care of people, and believes that every drink, every plate and every interaction is part of the guest experience.

The lounge is often where guests slow down between rounds, so the way it looks, sounds and feels matters. Your job is to make that moment effortless: the right drink, made well, served warmly, in a space that is always clean, stocked and ready.

You will work independently for much of your shift, running the lounge on your own while staying connected with the Lounge Manager and the rest of the HAVN team, exercising good judgment and asking for help when you need it.

Schedule

- Thursday and Saturday: 3pm to 11pm
- Friday and Sundays: full available after 10 am
- 3- 4 shifts a week.

Primary Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble menu items with precision and attention to quality, following recipes and SOPs so every drink and plate looks and tastes consistent.




- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency throughout every shift.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately and offer helpful recommendations.
- Deliver orders in a timely way and handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, professionally and with empathy.
- Post orders and manage guest tabs accurately in the POS (Square).
- Manage food inventory, monitor product freshness, and communicate ordering needs to the Lounge Manager.
- Ensure food is properly rotated and that safe handling temperatures and procedures are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the lounge and food preparation areas; clean and sanitize tables, countertops and equipment regularly.
- Keep the lounge organized and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Conduct regular quality checks on service, cleanliness and hygiene, and address any gaps right away.
- Maintain a calm, positive and welcoming atmosphere that protects the HAVN experience.
- Work closely with the HAVN team, support teammates during peak hours, and ask for help when needed.

Required Experience & Skills

- Previous experience as a barista or bartender.
- FoodSafe certification and a working knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with guests, teammates and management.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and guest tabs accurately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable being self-directed and managing a wide range of tasks on your own.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Evening and weekend availability.

Assets

- Experience in hospitality, spa, wellness or recreation environments.
- Experience with Square or a similar POS.
- Specialty coffee, mocktail or healthy-menu experience.

Pay: $23.00-$24.50 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
