Commercial contracting and employment law define this Legal Counsel position with ROSEN in Calgary, Alberta, supporting Canadian operations and selected U.S. matters.

As principal in-country legal resource, you will advise ROSEN Canada and coordinate with U.S. Legal. The work spans customer and supplier agreements, Canadian employment matters, claims, disputes, compliance, and risk management. You will collaborate with commercial, operational, finance, human resources, and leadership stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate customer and supplier agreements

Advise on Canadian employment matters and workplace issues

Assess contractual risks and negotiate protective provisions

Support claims, disputes, insurance notifications,



and external counsel

Maintain legal records, contracts, matter files, and deadlines

Requirements

LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized law school

Active Alberta Law Society membership or prompt eligibility

Three to six years of relevant post-call experience

Commercial agreement drafting and negotiation experience

Canadian employment, disputes, or insurance experience

Bring practical commercial judgment, employment law knowledge, and contracting experience to ROSEN’s Canadian and supported U.S. operations.
