We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team on a temporary full-time contract from November 26, 2026 to March 30, 2027, providing coverage during a staff leave of absence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout our condominium building, including common areas, amenities and guest suites.

Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, vacuum and disinfect floors in hallways, lobbies and entrances.
- Clean and maintain elevators, doors, windows, mirrors and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize the fitness room, social room and washrooms.
- Clean guest suites following guest check-out.
- Sweep stairwells and clean handrails.
- Empty garbage, recycling and compost bins if maintenance is unavailable.
- Perform scheduled weekly and monthly cleaning projects.
- Complete occasional deep-cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards or other issues to management.




- Clean parkade entrances and attend to spills.

Qualifications

- Previous cleaning or custodial experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
- Reliable, punctual and organized.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Friendly and professional when interacting with residents and visitors.
- WHMIS required or willingness to obtain
- Criminal Record Check required.

Position Details

- Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (fixed-term contract)
- Wage: $20 to $23 per hour
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
- Contract Term: November 26, 2026 to March 30, 2027
- Location: Botanica Condo, St. Albert, Alberta
