Full time position available for a self-motivated, high energy Controller with an Operational mindset. This position will play an important role in the organization’s fiscal strength and growth. Successful candidate will serve as a part of the company’s management team and oversee the company’s accounting operations. Must be an organized multitasker with strong business sense. Experience in Transportation Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Perform operational and financial analysis within business units and present findings and recommendation to Managers.
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Payroll, AR, AP and preparation of a monthly financial reporting package.
- Responsible for overseeing full cycle accounting duties including monthly reconciliations, HST fillings, reviewing and processing journal entries, monitoring schedules etc.
- Develop and maintain a robust rolling forecast that includes input from various business sectors.
- Develop and implement financial controls to achieve business objectives.
- Provide guidance and direction to internal teams for improving financial performance.
- Assist in streamlining processes at business unit level to achieve company goals.




- Develop financial modeling of annual budget to achieve cost objectives.
- Work closely with Internal Controls, as needed, to investigate and correct operational issues.
- Prepare internal reporting package including operating metrics, financial controls and performance indicators that will help in improving business performance.
- Ensure business operations are in compliance with company policies and best practices.
- Provide full analytical support for new business endeavors.
- Provide strategic counsel on major financial decisions including potential acquisitions and mergers.
- Various special projects.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

- CPA designation mandatory.
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the Transportation Industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
