The Personal Care Assistant supports individuals with daily routines while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. This role may involve care in a home or residential setting and requires a respectful, attentive approach tailored to each person’s needs.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, including safe heavy lifting when needed.
- Prepare meals, help with cleaning, and support medication administration according to established care plans and instructions.
- Provide patient care and companionship, adapting support for seniors and individuals with disabilities, dementia, or hospice care needs.
- Communicate observations clearly with colleagues and follow care routines consistently. Your impact:

Skills

Required: Practical caregiving, patient care, clear communication, and careful attention to personal routines support safe, respectful assistance. Preferred: Assisted living, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, dementia care, home care, or disability support experience; nursing knowledge, meal preparation, cleaning, medication administration, and safe heavy lifting are valuable strengths.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
