Role overview

We are hiring an experienced Water Treatment Installer who can run a job from arrival to sign-off and set the standard for the rest of the crew. You will install, service and troubleshoot residential water softeners, reverse osmosis (RO) systems and well-water treatment equipment.

This is a field-based role that needs strong technical skill, confident customer communication and the leadership to lead by example. It is a full-time position with fixed hours, and you will relocate to Edmonton with our support.

Key responsibilities

1. Installation and system setup

- Install and commission water softeners (Clack, Fleck) and reverse osmosis systems (under-sink and basement setups)
- Install and service well-water treatment equipment
- Complete plumbing connections in PEX, copper and PVC
- Set up drain lines, brine lines and bypass valves
- Program control valves and regeneration cycles
- Test system performance: hardness, TDS, pressure and flow rate

2. Customer interaction

- Explain system usage, maintenance and service schedules
- Communicate clearly and confidently on-site




- Represent Water Softener Edmonton professionally on every visit

3. Operations and documentation

- Complete installation notes, service reports and photos
- Follow installation SOPs and safety guidelines
- Keep job sites clean and service vehicles organized

4. Leadership and quality

- Take ownership of each job, including the final quality check before you leave site
- Lead by example on safety, SOP compliance and workmanship
- Guide and mentor newer installers and helpers when paired on a job
- Flag recurring issues and suggest improvements to our installation process

What you bring

Experience





- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in plumbing or water treatment installation
- Experience installing water softeners and RO systems
- Experience with Clack / Fleck systems is a strong asset
- Experience guiding, training or leading other installers or helpers is a strong asset

Technical skills

- Strong plumbing fundamentals: PEX, copper, fittings, valves and drains
- Ability to troubleshoot system performance issues
- Basic understanding of water chemistry (hardness, iron, TDS)

Leadership and soft skills

- Takes ownership and sets the standard on every job site
- Reliable and accountable, with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Explicit, professional communication with customers
- Works independently in the field and helps others do the same

Other requirements

- Currently based in Toronto / GTA and ready to relocate to Edmonton, AB (relocation support provided)
- Valid Class 5 / Ontario G driver’s license with a clean abstract, and willingness to obtain an Alberta Class 5 license after relocating
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs (tanks, salt, media)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
