Protoworks Manufacturing Inc., a subsidiary of Novitech LLC, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Deburring Technician to join our team in Vaughan, Ontario.

The Deburring Technician is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from metal and machined components to ensure finished parts meet dimensional, functional, and cosmetic quality requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to safely operate a variety of hand tools and deburring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from metal and machined parts
- Operate hand tools, files, Dremel grinders, belt sanders, and other deburring equipment
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering specifications
- Maintain proper part dimensions and surface finishes during the deburring process
- Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and established quality procedures
- Identify and report damaged, defective, or non-conforming parts to the supervisor
- Safely operate and properly maintain deburring tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Properly handle,



identify, label and organize completed parts
- Work collaboratively with team members to support production schedules and on-time deliveries
- Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience in manufacturing, metalworking, machining, or deburring is an asset
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn new processes, and follow established procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and handle materials as required
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
