Hewson Brothers Acoustic Solutions is seeking a General Labourer at an entry level position to assist with delivering drywall, insulation, steel studs and acoustic tiles in the tri-city area.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure materials are handled efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

This person is punctual, self-motivated, and experienced in transporting and handling building materials on the highway and on the jobsite.

Responsibilities

· Daily circle check.

· Verify accuracy, tarp and strap loads.

· Deliver loads into commercial and residential buildings.

· Be willing and able to work as part of a team and communicate with co-workers.

· Safe and timely deliveries and pickups.

· Abide by all rules of the road and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

· Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.

· Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements to transfer building materials on the job site.

Hours of Work

- Flexible hours required
- Typical shift: 07:00am., Monday to Friday
- Hours may vary based on operational needs

Requirements
- G Class License
- Forklift experience will be considering an asset
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move materials as required




- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements

- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs., with assistance as required
