Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanic (421A) Greater Toronto Area Full Time | Shop / field based Expected Union Compensation: $40/hr.

- $An established heavy civil contractor is looking for an experienced Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanic to oversee the inspection, maintenance and preventative repair of heavy equipment including dozers and excavators.

Experience reading schematics (Electrical and hydraulic). Solid interpersonal and communication skills. High level of comfort in using a computer daily. Complete diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our equipment while maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality. valuable communication skills, and be able to interact positively with customers, supervisors,



and colleagues Keep neat and organized records of services and work in process; Be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot faulty equipment by implementing critical thinking and utilizing diagnostic software.

Perform service and repairs in the shop and in the field, when needed. Mobile repair truck provided. Applicable union pension and benefit provisions.
